For as long as I can remember, creating has been an essential part of my life. As a child I always enjoyed playing with Legos, where I could create something from nothing. This was also the case with Arts and Crafts both at school and at home. One day I started to draw my favorite Dragonball Z characters for fun. I quickly realized it was much harder than it looked. Being a perfectionist, I failed many times before I finally got to a point where I could share my drawings with my fellow classmates. My friends at the time all liked my drawings because they were also fans of the show. Before I knew it, I was spending most of my free time trying to get better at drawing these characters. I could never get them quite right no matter how much my friends loved them.

Before I knew it I was in High School excelling in art class. This is where my teachers all encouraged me to take extra Art focused classes. In these extra classes I met many other people my age who were really into drawing and they were all amazing artists. This pushed me to try harder and learn more about the fundamentals of traditional drawing. College was where I was able to learn about all sorts of different mediums besides pencil and paper. I graduated from Miami University with a degree in Studio Art and a concentration in painting. During my time at Miami I learned how to use many different mediums and was able to experiment with various subject matter.

I enjoy drawing all sorts of subject matter but I am probably most proficient at drawing landscapes. These days most of my drawing is done in Photoshop but I still really enjoy using traditional media to create. My art style is heavily influenced by all of the video games I have played over the years. Ranging from high fantasy to gritty science-fiction and beyond. Whenever I have free time I draw both for fun and professionally. Most of my contract work is for graphic design but I do take interesting concept commissions whenever I can.
